BACK DOOR LEAK

BACK DOOR LEAK

Postby smokinjoe [OP] » September 8th 2011, 7:46pm

So out of the blue I have a leak in my '95's right rear door top. There is some tearing in the weatherstripping so I think thats it. I have 2 doors and not the liftgate. I have searched but couldnt find the gaskets/weatherstripping. Anyone know where I can find it? Rockauto didnt have it. Help, thanks

sometimes the gasket on the roof mounted stop light starts to leak and water runs down underneath the light into cabin through the roof hole for the wiring ,, mine did this and I found the gasket only comes with a new lamp fixture , what I did was cut a new gasket made from a car inner tube and used some rtv silicone to attach it to the bottom of lamp and that fixed it.
