The second one. I think the first one is just a bit too much for me.

One with a slight down turn actually helps aerodynamics. Remember way back Mark before the naysayers came. I actually posted the wind tunnel test with the colored air rushing over the vans. One with one without the spoiler. Showing the reduced turbulence. I looked I couldn't find that test anymore.

So my vote would be 2 with a slightly lower turndown.

The spoiler on the A-team van is so expensive and a bit to much to create with what I have for experience and shop space.

Number one, without the upper wing portion - just the lower part with the 3rd brake light.

Its not just about looks if you have the right one it keeps some of the blowback from sticking to the hatch glass during rain storms and it helps when done right for aerodynamics.

The air diverter on the back of my Isuzu Trooper II actually worked. It kept dust and rain from just sitting on the rear window. I had a wiper but didn’t often need it.

I always thought the Astro should have something similar. It was offered as an option on the Jeep Liberty, but mine doesn’t have it - nor does any I’ve seen.

I like the one Leeann posted. I've seen them on the back of older station wagons (80's) and some suburbans. I want to make one, but split in the middle for my barn doors, since they don't have wipers. I wouldn't want one that went higher, as I'd be worried about catching it on something low-hanging, like in a parking garage or drive thru. Plus wings and visors are usually ripped off in car washes, not that I frequent those places. But if your van is lower than stock, how high the spoiler is wouldn't matter, unless you copy a Superbird wing...

Some s-10/s15 blazers came with a similar design but they were not wide enough for the Astro.
