Which OEM projectors for Astro Headlights

Which OEM projectors for Astro Headlights

Postby Isuene [OP] » August 3rd 2020, 9:51am

Hi,

I'm going to be headed to a upullit junkyard in a couple of days and wanted to know what OEM projector (low beam or hi doesn't matter I'm most likely going to stick with lo beam) would fit in my 02 Chevy Astro
my current PNP hid are not going to cut it this winter it feels like if I'm driving with pencil beam headlights

I tried to add more light with fogs but I can't install it in the spot in the bumper as it scrapes a lot my lip n half the front bumper is cracked

I installed the fogs in behind the grill and the grill cracked -.-

id like to stick with hids when I retrofit projectors in the headlights
I can measure the headlight later today
the only problem I can see my self having is on the passenger side because the coolant and wiper fluid reservoir is behind the headlight

IMO, the HID 'upgrades' in stock lenses suck. I think the best solution is to use the rectangular 'cargo' headlight grille with a quality aftermarket lens/housing.

Lighting is complicated, have a good read here https://jalopnik.com/why-most-led-headl ... 1843070472
