what size window

what size window

Postby paintdrying [OP] » June 7th 2012, 3:05am

I need the side pop out window behind the drivers window. My question is, can I measure the passenger side window on the sliding door and go to the jy to find the exact same size, except for the driver's side. I am I explaining that right.
The jy computer always tells me nothing fits. I can measure the latch holes and empty hole size on the van and get a good idea, I just want to be exact.

Are you thinking if you can't find the drivers side, that maybe you can use a window from a slider

Not sure what you are asking ,, behind the drivers window?

if you need the window on drivers side , go to jy and remove from the location you need, as I recall the one in the sliding door is larger than drivers side ,, a dealer or auto glass shop should have dimensions , but the windows themselves should be the same on most Gen2 vans ,,except for the custom conversion vans which would likely be had through a auto glass repair shop

Let me just start over here. Need the drivers side back pop out window for a 1998 safari gmc. Only astros in the junkyard. Would the gen 2 chevy astro and gmc safari be the same? Hope that makes more sense, someone fried my brain earlier in the day.
