Postby alainbil [OP] » January 6th 2013, 4:21am

Hello everyone, I just joined this Forum since I purchased a used 97 Astro LT AWD for my work and I am quite impressed with this forum, here's my question; can I replace the existing Dutch doors that I have at the moment with Barn doors what is needed for modifications, could I make such modification? Waiting to ear from you guys, sincerely Alain from Quebec City Canada.

Shouldn't be much work, hardest part is getting hinge pins out, they can be a pain to get out.
There will be 4 holes in the roof, fill with silicone. Remove Dutch door mounts off the pillars, install top middle mount for barn doors
The headliner piece for Dutch dorrs will also needed to changed.
Will have some wires from Dutch doors that are not usable on barn doors.
