Safari Grill Swap

Just finished installing the safari grill with sealed headlamps, and a Stull Billet Grill insert on my 98 astro. It is a direct bolt-on, took maybe an hour to cut out existing grill on the safari grill, mount the stull grill, and then swap out the fronts.Total Cost=$170 shipped and installed. I also painted the grill black (came a metallic gray).


Safari Grill, you have to cut out the existing grill which is plastic to mount the Stull Grill. The Stull grill does not bolt on top.

Looks good overall, i think the headlights would stand out too much with the grill black.

It's a good contrast as it sits right now. I notice that you also tinted the fog lights in the P/s shot.

Yea the foglights are "cool," just not as they sit. I really hate chrome, and they stick out like sore thumbs. Im still thinking it over, i'm atleast gonna paint the grill surround black, gray doesn't match any of the trim on the exterior. I think I need to get the rims and the bodykit on asap though. Decisions decisions.

I like the chome look just a thought could you mount those fogs in the grill?

I was thinking about mounting the fogs possibly behind the grill. But then they probably wouldnt do much other than be running lights. So still thinking about it, if I get the front valence I want, they would fit better and tuck back into the holes. I might just remove them for now and paint the trim like I said.

I'll throw them in if you buy my rims, lol. In all honesty they look cool, but performance wise not so great. They are LED foglights, so they use no power, but they dont really light up the night. Here is a link to a similar one (these have more LED's):
