Rear Door Will Not Open

Two rear doors

The rear door handle developed a crack a couple of monthes ago but still operated fine. I purchased a replacement handle with the intention of doing the switch when the handle broke completly, which still has not happened. Now the door well not open when I pull on the handle. The handle seems to otherwise operate okay .

This is my work van and and operateing out of the side door is quite inconvenient.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My rear doors wouldn't open. Turned out to be a failed power lock actuator. It had failed in the locked position. You might consider this a possibility. I fixed it by removing the interior panel and manually moving the tiny lock lever on the switch itself

My rear doors lock and unlock with a key only. I have no rear actuators.

I should have mentioned this but I did not know actuators were offered on Astros.

And mine doesn't have keyhole!
