Postby TucsonAstro [OP] » May 30th 2010, 7:34am

Hi guys. I would like to know which front end you recomend for my 98 Astro. I have been thinking alot of replacing the front end grill for a Safari one. I kinda like it better. But you guys think i should stay Astro or go Safari??

Hey Tucson... Man we think alike... That could be a good thing or bad... Just don't ask anyone here OK.

I have been thinking about this for awhile. Here is the thread that's pushing me pretty hard: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=326&start=0

Have a look, and keep us posted. Your change may push me over the edge. Jim

Everyone has an Astro... there must be ten to one. I like the GMC thing my self, so you have my vote.

PS If I were looking, I wouldn't turn down a good Astro if I found it!

I kinda prefer the GMC grill as well,I wasn't dissapointed at the idea of using my 400 dollar safari parts van front end on the crashed '95,but instead, I'm just gonna drive the parts van  ( actually the wife's gonna be driving it)
Figure out the problem before buying parts

Thanks guys for your replys. The thing is that I used to have a 97 Chevy truck and I always wanted the GMC grill on my truck. It never happened, when i got my Astros I just kept that idea. :D I think I do kinda like the GMC better. I don't know.

It would be cool if you could put a bowtie emblem in place of the GMC.

I would Most Certainty remove the GMC logo... As a matter of fact, I am a fan of debadging a vehicle.

Yes sir.. I just like the style of the grille. But I won't leave the GMC on there. Maybe a billet grill.
