I would like to turn my cargo van into a mostly self contained camper. Is there some way to mount a generator under the belly? I am considering a 2" body lift to provide a little more room. I am not looking to power the whole city - 1000 watts would be adequate, 1500 ideal.

Recently was following a new Dodge (Fiat) RV and he had a CAT brand generator mounted on the rear axle. I decided the RV was a front wheel drive. I also didn't know CAT made a generator.
