molding removal

Looking to remove all of the body molding from my 98 ls but ive noticed if i remove the section under my door closer to the fender there seems to be alarge gap. Where can i find the filler piece because im really wanting to get rid of the ls trim. Also what is this piece called?

I left that piece right behind the front wheels but took a hack saw to where the plastic piece makes the bend. It allows for the horizontal piece to be removed but keeps that large gap covered. I'll try to post pics next time I remember to snap a photo of it.

Could you post a photo of what you have and then sneak to your neighbors and snap a photo of what you may want from their ASTRO If I can see if I have what you need like the piece just behind the wheel I have both sides in great shape I can send you from the white donor van I have in my gallery of photos here.
