Advice On Body Kits...

Advice On Body Kits...

Postby astroluv4life [OP] » December 7th 2010, 2:22pm

My last astro did not have a kit, But looking around I really think I like that style. Any advice on these body kits and where to purchase? Do they bolt over the old bumpers or do I need to remove them anyway? Also I love the full phantom grills (The ones that cover head lights and all) But I can't find them any where either. Thanks for all your help!

You're welcome Carter,

I bought the billet grille for mine off eBay. Just make sure you check the seller. It looks like most of the aluminum grilles are made by the same manufacturer. So I would think most of them are the same. The full Phantom grille does take some modifying of the head light buckets to make them fit. One seller says, "It is a good Handy Man's project." I sure you would have no problem with what needs to be done.

Good luck, Keith

Not sure what year you have. But I would recommend Stillen. They make some quality bodykits. I had one on my blue one and loved it. Front bumper replaces stock bumper. You just remove the cover, and slip this one on over the bumper support. Side skirts just screw and glue/tape. Rear is the same.

Here is a pic before I put the skirts on. Favorite bumper hands down. Anyway, good luck with your search.
