96 Astro in Seattle

I bought this van a bit over a month ago. Knew it was going to need a lot of work, but as always there was more work than suspected. The original list of issues:
-replace radiator
-alignment
-fill fluids
-new wheels and tires
-install lift kit
-new wiper blades

Additions to the list:
-oil leak
-front sway bar bushings needing replacement
-mice that were living in the van from past owner making it smell weird
-new wiper motor and arms
-air flitters
-new radiator hoses
-new curtins
-trying to get the fade lines across the center of the exterior off
-LED cabin ceiling lights don't work... worried the wires got crewed up by the mice from past owner.

So far, all has been done, except for the led light issue, which will be done next week and the alignment that is getting done this Friday. This weekend we installed the journey's lift kit, wheels & tires, and new front sway bar link & bushings. I've never worked on a car so this is all new to me. Old sway bar link and bushings. We ended up just cutting them out.

for the stripe removal I use an eraser wheel stripe remover, they're amazing they don't hurt the paint if done properly. 3M makes one as well as other companies, it fits in any drill. I get them from the auto body supplier and they're available online The key is to take your time keep the revs real low so as not to heat up the paint. when all the stripe and glue has been rolled off the surface then the residue can be cleaned off with WD40 or Prepsol

^ yep, I have the 3M version. It works great - and you can't tell it was there when you're done.
