Part-Time Camping Work Van "Conversion"

Hi everyone. I figured I'd share my minimally engineered 'Camper' astro before I probably sell it in the next few weeks.

The astro is my work van, but I wanted to be able to easily convert it into a minimal camper for weekend trips.

I came up with a solution that preserves 95% of the cargo van space for most of the dailying, but is ready to go on a weekend trip with only 10 minutes of packing.

In 'Cargo' Mode:

It's been awesome for the 4-5 total weeks of travel I've taken with it. But the last trip was really hard on it, it developed a ton of issues, and I don't have a garage so I can't DIY any of the necessary suspension work. So, I'll probably sell it and put the money into a new Transit.

Dude sorry you had suspension issues, this gave me some great ideas! I am definitely doing a version of that bed and now I can fit a bike. Thanks for this post.
