Silverbullet97's 4x4 tcase swap and info needed thread.

So after talking to kevin, (silverbullet) I have been strong-armed into maybe doing a tcase conversion. (still waiting for kevin to post the pics of the lifting process.....poke)

problem (for me) is, sb97 drives a 97awd, I have an 03.

now, what I need from all, y'all geniuses, is a front driveshaft length, as well as a half assed t-case measurement from an 96-98 owner.

as the t case changes, as well as the design of the front prop shaft, in 99, im gonna try to figure out if a 99+ 233 tcase and a 99+ astro awd front prop shaft will "mate" nicely...........

It's called crawl under you damn van and measure the driveshafts and tcase. With pics. Also measure the distance from the cross member to the front driveshaft tcase flange.

Also measure from the 6 bolt adaptor ring to the front of the cross member.


You can do it put your back into it.
