1990 Tiger Provan - Advice on Leaf Spring Update?

Hi All! We bought a 1990 Tiger Provan back in January and are gearing up for a long honeymoon starting in June - good mechanical and cosmetic shape overall but from general knowledge of chevy astros we are thinking we need to upgrade the fiberglass leafsprings to steel. Any advice here? General price range? We are located in denver and have heard that Denver springs and suspension is the place to go.

Going with steel springs in the Tiger is an awesome upgrade, the way I did mine has been working perfectly. Link is in my sig.
Price depends on which method you choose and how much work you do yourself. It could be less than $200(mine was), or up to $2000+ w/ new rear.

If you are planning a lift, you will probably want to decide that before you go any further.

1. Buy the mounts/shackles from the junk yard for a later model with steel springs. ~$50
2. Procure the standard steel springs you want, these can be from the junk yard or new. $40 - $500
a. Modify the spring perches on your current rear end $0.00, or replace them with new properly sized perches $40 - $150. Then you can go with plates and ubolts $40(IIRC, it's in my Tiger thread somewhere)
b. Replace axle from JY with one that came with steel springs $100 - $800.
c. Buy a complete rebuilt axle for an astro with your bolt pattern/rear end ratio but that came with steel springs $1500-2000(and probably up).
