Edit: Now down to $7

Update: I did get a batch of bad ones, first they wanted to give me 20% off, when pressed they gave me a full refund. About 75% of the bunch that I ordered are reported to be working fine.

Not to Wizz on the parade, but that's the first model I got on my quest for torque data. Mine lasted about 2 months, so I hope you guys have better luck. Remember to unplug it when not in use, it will drain/ kill your battery inside of about 3 days if not driving.
FWIW, this is the one I use now, still working after a year and has a power switch.

I have had mine for years, used a TON and it's still kicking. But just like everything else made over there, the quality can change every day.

I went thru several OBD ll bluetooth devices. Failure was Chinese clones. A few never worked right out of the box, so I found one that indeed does have a warranty. It does cost a few dollars more. It came from scantool.net. I have use it for over a year.
With OBDll Torque I also found that the free google play one is sufficient for me. Yeah, Torque Pro has more features.

Just received the OBD2 reader that Wimpazz linked plus loaded Torque Pro onto my phone, tried it on my Sebring. Just need to figure out all the features & set up a custom set of gauges.

I tried Whimpy's link 3 times in a row.
It went to the ASTROSAFARI.com home page every time. :rolling:
Is that just a glitch when there is too much traffic on the site or some odd ?

Something odd with his link. Right-clicking and open in new tab opened the AS home page for me, too.

EDIT: actually, Will's link just did the same...

Copy the link - highlight and copy - then paste into a new tab and it works fine. External links apparently aren't working on the site.

This link back thing is weird. Links have always worked as expected for me in FireFox. Parsed or any other way, click a link, I go to the desired page.

This latest link problem seems new. Click a link and it links back to this page? That would sound like a website code error, EXCEPT, there are users/browsers (me and others) who do not get that link back problem.

I'm curious how it all behaves for those users on phones or android/iApple tablets and other non-full size computer machines.

I'm also curious - Leeann, or anyone who IS experiencing the link back thing, I presume it worked correctly at some point in the recent past. Has there been some code changes on the website? Coincidental browsers in need of update? Hostile web takeover by the Anonymous hacker bunch? Scorpion poo in the servers?

The works on some, sometimes, works on some, all the time, doesn't work on some thing has always suggested individual browser settings.

I haven't been having the problem over here on Ubuntu/Chrome, but there is definitely something going on when there are quite a few people mentioning it.

I edited the original link to include one in code brackets, that way you can just copy and paste if it's messing up.

I've always been able to reach links on the other AS site as well. While, for some others, it appears blocked.

No biggy, you can always type it in a search.

Normally I don't have a problem with links.
But that page all links led back to home. :sad-bored:
I thought maybe it was just a temporary thing but it's still that way.

Older ''Deals on line'' links are working for me.
And other links from AstroWill and Whimpy work for me.
I tried the $12 OBD through AstroWill's link from his profile.
Worked no problem.

Other topic's links for the same category worked and other links from Wimpy and Will worked.
So I don't think that it is my settings.
Seems like a glitch on that page only '' for me'' ?

If I see it happen somewhere else I will make a note of it later.
I only wrote this response because some folks were interested.
So I tried to add all symptoms or lack thereof.

Edit ;
I did the link test that you put up Whimpy.
It took too long for me to find the right emojis for a response.
Now that you edited yours and the link test is gone, mine isn't funny anymore. :D

I found the product and everything is great.

I just replied earlier because folks were wondering why some people's links weren't going through.
And I thought it looked like maybe it's just that page ?
To help you guys that know tech stuff and that were curious diagnose, if you wanted to ?
Regardless of the emojis up top, the links acting up does not bother me at all.

Maybe some simple quirk but totally could be on my end.

Hey Lumpy, I use a laptop home computer with regular Google Chrome.
