Glovebox/Seat Noise

Hello, I have a vibration noise coming from around the glove box area when the radio is on. The passenger side middle row has buckets and it rattles over every bump. The sliding door is quiet, definitely seat noise. Any ideas?? Thanks, Jeff

When you have the vibration turn the volume up on the radio and see if the vibration gets louder. I thought I had the same thing , turned out that the radio was picking up my cellphone charging from the cigarette lighter outlet and making a buzzing sound over the speakers.

Not a phone related issue. Just happens with the tunes playin.

Check the bottom bolts on the doghouse cover. Then check that all the push-in bits are, well, pushed-in. On the top of the doghouse cover, on the knee bolster thingy on the passenger side....if any of them are loose, you'll get a seriously annoying rattle.

well if you figured out to fit a seat in the glove box you should be able to figure out the noise.

You'ze guys are a hoot for sure!

As regards the bucket seats in the middle row... Grab each at the seat cushion and try and shake them hard, they might be loose.

If they're attached like the front seats are, there are four nuts at each bottom inside corner of the seat bracket that secures the seat to a stud coming up from floor. They might be loose and if so, tighten them real good.

I can't think of anything else that would cause those bucket seats to rattle like you say.

It's like the back of the seat is vibrating? I guess its 14 years old!! what else should I expect. Thanks for the replies
