Center view/rear view mirror.

Center view/rear view mirror.

Postby Van Yeti [OP] » March 5th 2011, 6:36pm

My cargo van came without one and I can't find one online anywhere. I'm looking to mount a backup camera monitor in place of it but the monitor clips onto an existing mirror, anyone know where I can find one?

I have a little metal tab on my windshield if that helps.

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem!

I fitted a cctv and monitor on my astro. Just plonk the splitscreen lcd screen on the dash with velcro and hook up infrared rearview camera. One camera points down to the rear bumper the other is used as a rear view mirror.
I also have a third camera under the wing mirror of right fendor looking forward! I will one day take pics of it and post it.

Ebay it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-reversing-camera-split-screen-colour-monitor-10-2-/330471070534?pt=UK_CCTV&hash=item4cf19c5b46

I have a box of them laying around, from replacing OEM ones with Mito auto dimming, and ones with a screen built in for a back up camera. Heck, I even have a few with the On-Star buttons etc, out of new GM trucks and SUV's. PM me with an address, I'll mail you a plain one for the cost of shipping.

go to your LAP and you should find one there. I got an aftermarket one and it looks just like the OEM one. Also, it slides right in onto any metal clip.
