Rear bench seats Gen 1 vs Gen 2 same?

Are my 89 rear benches the same as newer Gen II style seats?

In particular, do the genI seats fit into the same floor thingies as Gen II?


My Gen One's use the hooks in the photo to hook into a horizontal bar mounted
below floor level in a "well" with a plastic surround trim.

Yes the seat brackets are identical.I had Gen 2 seats in my Gen 1 van.Seat belt arrangement only thing that changes.

15 min for a reply is pretty good fure sure.
1997 Safari 2WD 3:73 locking. 300,000 km - almost full load.
2000 Safari AWD 3:73 locking. 275,000 km - Full load.
