After pulling all the carpet I think you all are right about the Dutch door seal being the culprit

I did the Noico sound deadening and I don't think it was such a pain but it did take patience and perseverance. A bit of effort as far as pressure rolling the stuff into place. Did you buy the applicator roller? If not, you should consider getting one. It was a huge help.
