I have looked in the forum and found one suggestion for a modification. Does anyone know of a kit or parts that I can buy. I need to slide my seat back 6" or so on my 1998 astro Van.
I modify my pass seat bases to move them back 2 inches to make my feet clear the door jam easier and make getting the engine cover off a lot easier, but never tried 6 inches.
Your welcome to try my mod.... Which is the one Jasen just mentioned in the above post.
Here is the same link HOW TO: Extend passenger seat. Increase leg room. No Welding
It works really well with out having to do any kind of welding or changing of the postion of where the actual seat bolts to the floor so it doesn't effect seat belts or anything like that....
Let me know if it works out for you if you do decide to change it.
It cost me about 10$ in materials (Bolts, angle iron, and spray paint)
And Welcome to the site.
