Car seat anchors in newer Vans?

Anybody know if the newer Vans have car seat anchors? Wanna get a 8 passenger '96+ Van just wanna know when the seat anchors started if they did..as we want them if we can get 'em!

I think the are on all '02 and up Vans. My father in laws '96 doesn't have them, but my '03 does. Get a '96 van and find some newer benches with the anchor points from a junk yard.

The seat belts work fine to hold the car seats, but our newborn has that car seat base and it would be much easier if I seat anchors in my Van. Oh well anchors or no anchors it will work...my wife was just curious.

That's what the security partition is for. Keeps them from rollen under the brake peddle and fling up and landing on the dash blocking your view of the road. Both very unsafe situations.

It's the 'Latch' system and is on '02 or '03 and up. I wanted it for mine as well but I couldn't find a late model Astro for $600. I'm always worried about the top and bottom tethers on the car seat becoming swinging projectiles during a collision. On my jimmy, I'm able to secure the top tether to the d-ring on the floor in the back and the two lower tethers to the frame of the seat. With Latch, the lowers would hook on either side of the car seat. I don't know how anyone managed to survive a car crash back when steel dashes, no seat belts, and no child car seats were the norm.

I clip the teather strap on the bottom of the seat frame, there is a slot that the clip fits in. Should put an anchor in the floor to be done properly though, but the bottom of the seat works well.
