Stainless Muffler for 1997 - Walker 21306 MIA

Postby SportsBoy [OP] » December 4th 2020, 9:43pm

Hi all,

I need a new muffler and was going to get the Walker 21306 Stainless muffler for my van.
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 0&jsn=1540

But it's out of stock on RockAuto and everywhere else it seems. They are behind in production due to covid.

Does anyone know where I can get one? Or of another stainless muffler for less than 100 bucks?

I saw Gibsons on Ebay, but those are $$$$, and I'm looking for stock level quiet and def not double tip exhaust.

Thanks!

Summit estimated ship date is next week. Oreilly gets them by the 9th. Checked your other LAPS?

https://amzn.to/2JFDpcO only temporary that it's out of stock. You can order it and they will ship them as soon as they are in.

I've used Walker a couple times, first was a tail pipe I ordered from Advanced Auto for store pickup, 2nd was an entire exhaust for a Honda Odyssey that I got from Amazon.
I like them, if you haven't used them before, I think you' will too.
Quality seemed good at a great price.

I could be reading this wrong, but it just looks unavailable at Summit - https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wlk-21306

I haven't really considered LAPS because I know it will be like 2x as much. :/

I have been checking around trying to decide what I'd get for like 2 weeks, and it was in stock on Amazon initially, but then went out of stock. I have had bad experiences waiting for something to come back into stock on Amazon before, so I just dismissed it. Maybe I'll give it a try though.

My father and I installed a Flowmaster Super HP2 on our 1998 GMC Safari, and routed the exhaust out before the rear tire on the passenger side. We are very pleased with the sound. The Super HP2 mufflers are recommended for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder vehicles; and they are available in stainless steel. I found out about them while looking for exhausts for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler; and I purchased a high-tuck exhaust for my Jeep that included the muffler. I am very pleased with the muffler on my Jeep, which happens to be my daily driver. Just my $0.02 to add to the collection of suggestions.

I put a sonic turbo on my truck and I have one to put on the 03 Astro, inexpensive and loud at all and breaths better then most expensive mufflers since its basically inlet a few v shaped blocks inside then the output.
