Manifold Years

Postby jdMcEvil [OP] » July 8th 2017, 1:03am

K so I'm just throwing it out there. Will the manifolds from my 95 fit my 90? The 95 is such a mix of first gen and second gen that I'm scratching my head. I replaced the entire exhaust including manifolds on my 95 about 200 km before she died and now my 90 is farting on one side from a split in the long side of the Y pipe. Do have the perfect setup on my parts van..?

Yes the manifolds fit. Issue is does the exhaust y pipe fit. Look and see if it is the same hook up. If not use the 95 y pipe and exhaust.

I believe the 95 was still using the gen 1 system. It should bold right to the pipe. It is a 94 engine. I got a 94 with 89 y pipe on it.

So if that isn't as clear as mud.

Exhaust has SO much leeway and is forgiving. I have a stock Y pipe and converter, going into an intermediate pipe and muffler from an E250 van and a custom made tailpipe. (Has to exit out the side, rear exit will get fumes in the van. Been there, done that)
