Emissions Test Fail for my Astro Van

4WD, ABS

My van failed its emission test last week giving me a sheet of paper with a reason,

Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low

I'm guessing I can go to a shop and show this and they might fix this issue for me but I wanted to know if there is anything related to this I should look into also as an inspection to see its related components are working as expected. Any ideas?

Pretty easy to test the wiring, make sure you are getting your reference voltage, ground is good, connector is clean and not corroded. Or just spend the $35 and replace the sensor. It's super easy to replace and if that is all that it is, saves you the mechanics fee.

Is there a how-to manual on how to do this? I think there was a manual on this site that you indicated on my other thread. I will take a look at it also.

The GM Techline eSI is the ultimate manual, link in my signature. But replacing the sensor is 1 connector and it pops into place.
