Clarification on Headers

Clarification on Headers

Postby keeshond [OP] » January 27th 2013, 10:17pm

I have a 2000 GMC Safari with the V6. I was reading other post and none of the post refer to my year van. Can I use the S10/S15 shorty headers? The Camaro/Firebird headers? Or am I just out of luck? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shorty S-10 work. Exhaust manifolds are the same as the S-10.

I tried to put on a set of pacesetter shorty headers for a S10 on my 2000 safari and they do not fit. The middle exhaust tube on the driver side does not clear to put on the bolts. Has anyone else had success with the pacesetter shorty headers?

should post pics of the header not clearing. it really depends on why it doesn't clear. sometimes you may have to buy a mini starter and others you might need to bend the collector. so what is it hitting?
