Fuel filter leaking, Astro / Safari van

Fuel filter leaking, Astro / Safari van

Postby TheBusAndUs [OP] » December 22nd 2017, 7:00pm

I changed the fuel filter on my 1995 and noticed the fuel filter was leaking upon reinstall. Napa had no solutions but Orileys carried this pack of fuel resistance o rings. I replaced the rear as it was leaking with the change, after doing that the front one leaked as well. So if you see your o rings with any type of damage just replace them BOTH before you reinstall the fuel filter. With this pack I’m now leak free!

Yep, good advice to be sure. I've seen assortments of o-rings, such as your picture points out,

in more than one A/P store, mostly in the "HELP" section.
