MAF Question

Postby Van-GO [OP] » April 14th 2012, 10:56pm

I have a 2005 Astro AWD. WHat are the three wires for in the MAF sensor? Are two of them related to DC volts? if so, which is which? ( + or -) Thank You

One is hot, one negative. The third is a signal to the ecm. To find hot and negative test with a volt/ohm meter on the plug on the vans wiring harness. One will test hot 12V with the key on. One will show continuity to a ground. The signal wire will show a milivoltage which varies and is random.
