trailer wiring

Postby fatguyzinc [OP] » December 13th 2008, 1:06am

ok, i did it- and it works! everything works perfect: tail, turn, stop, and hazards....still gotta figure out where to exit the body w/the harness, tho. i just got out my chilton manual, and looked at the wiring diagrams, also checked the net. bought a universal 4 pin harness connector from checkers, and 20 minutes later it was all good. wear rubber gloves, the stock harness is taped with some nasty sh*t that dont wanna come of your hands even with lava soap!

When I need to use mine, I just open the door and hook it up, and shut the door.
When not in use it's just lying in the back out of the way.

That's a really good idea. Nothing like corroded wire connectors to ruin your day.
