WTB 2nd Gen Chevy Astro/Safari NYC area

Hey all! New to the forum, but I have been scoping these vans for quite some time and am in the market for one. I have already been checking all of the craigslist cars in the area but am throwing a hail mary to see if any members in the northeast are looking to part ways with a decent runner.
For some context,my budget is 3k or less and am planning on driving it to Texas in the mid term future. Not set on AWD or Rear.

I just generally find member cars to be a bit more trustworthy than some schmohawk off craigslist, even though I''m looking there too

You might have better luck finding one with a decent body in Texas or thereabouts.
