(Another) Double DIN install... with a not so common use...

So, it's not done yet... But I thought I'd share what I got so far. I'm waiting on a right angle antenna adapter for the CB so I can push everything in far enough...

I like your idea of installing the CB radio there!

Yea that connector looks like it has seen better days.

Looking good! I recently installed a double DIN head unit and used the Metra bezel kit. I am really happy with the finished look! I typically don't like swapping out stock stereos for aftermarket as they often don't fit quite right and look cheap protruding out from the dash, but after the FM tuner going bad in my stock stereo, I realized my cheapest option for fixing it (outside of a wrecking yard find) was an aftermarket stereo. The final product of the new head unit with the Metra kit has me rethinking my original stance.

Are you guys using the same Metra double DIN kit? That looks really good. What's the part number?

I've got an old Alpine INA-W910 that's collecting dust. Even though it's old it'd still be better than the stock radio.

Thanks,
Ben
