Front speakers issue. Tweeters work, rear speakers work.

2000 chevy astro ls. my rear speakers work fine, tweeters in the front work, but my speakers in the front doors don't work. Already baught a new head unit, also brand new front speakers. Still nothing. Thought they were blown, thought it was the head unit. Heeeeeellllllppp! You guys know that music improves efficiency, horsepower, etc etc so this is very necessary hahah. Thanks ahead of time guys, I will continue messing with it for now.

Did the speakers work before swapping the head unit?

No they didn't unfortunately. I baught the van like that, so I'm guessing the older head unit was fine and the old speakers but something else must be the issue?

The wires in the doors are notorious for breakage, but both... meh.

Sounds like you got some 'ringing' to do.

Only 1 set of wires run to each door for the speakers, powering both the door speaker and door tweeter.

Figured it out! Corrosion on wires! Got everything up and running.
