Nearly always ONG anywhere in the van (if it's OEM) is constant +12vdc. My schematic indicates it's on a 2 pin connector (9) BRN and (40) ONG. I believe BRN is parking light sense.

Is your new radio working?

Is the leftover orange wire on the new Crutchfield piece or is coming from the van?
