Rear ac lines stuck

Rear ac lines stuck

Postby zzimmer3 [OP] » July 8th 2017, 10:21pm

I'm trying to remove the rear ac unit to replace the valve, so I'll have cold ac in the back. I can't get the lines broke free from the condenser (two hard piped lined that I removed a 13mm nut from underneath). The 'block' is stuck to the condenser. (I guess that's what it's called). I've sprayed pb blast and am trying to persuade it w a hammer and long screwdriver. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Try to tighten it a hair first. Don't know why but usually on A/C parts it will break them free.

I'll give it a try tomorrow, thanks. I've saturated it with pb blast for the evening. Thanks.
