Board members,
I’ve been working at identifying the source of my A/C leak for some time now and the only place I can find any indication of a leak, using the chartreuse dye and a UV light, is the compressor. I’ve done my best to inspect all components, pipes and connections.
So, my plan will be to replace the compressor. I checked out Rock Auto and see that they sell various component kits, compressor, dryer/accumulator, orifice tube, etc. I was hoping to get the boards thoughts on these kits. Anyone use them? If so, were you happy with them? How did they perform?
As always, any and all comments are greatly appreciated!
I decided to just replaced the compressor rather than repair. I’m hoping to get my A/C up and running again as soon as possible.
Again, thanks for any and all thoughts and comments!

Hi,
Change the accumulator and the orifice tube as a bare minimum. When you remove the orifice tube you'll see why!
Seals for the pipes if the compressor doesn't come with them.
Cheers
