Considering an eBay A/C compressor

Considering an eBay A/C compressor

Postby family_truckster [OP] » May 8th 2009, 7:57pm

Hey, I'm considering buying an A/C Compressor off of eBay. The average price, with clutch and including a drier is like $120

Has anyone had any luck buying one off of eBay?
If so, do you remember the Seller's name?

Thanks

I just did a compressor replacement. I did explore all options when purchasing the compressor. I did seriously consider an Ebay unit. I ended up buying a Delphi from Napa for around 320.00$. I came to this decision because when it came to convience of it all. If i had to warranty it or the wrong one was sent it would cost more money to reship to seller. The Delphi had a one year warranty and would be easier to take back to Napa. I do not have any other experiences with Ebay parts.

I have ok luck buying many things on ebay I guess you just got to be careful from who. I have bought things like turn signals levers to body parts for my safari and I had good luck. As for a compressor I would just buy from a place that has a good exchange policy and what not.
