Digital temp gauge not working!!!!

hello, i have a 94 astro van, and my temp gauge on the digital display stopped working!!! i know it works ones in a while, cause when i jump the van or when i unplug the battery and back in, the temp jumps all the way up and then down and off!!!

i replaced the sending unit next to the thermostat on the manifold, but still no go!!!! anything else i could be looking for????

i dont remember!!!! i think i did !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can almost guarantee it is the solder joints on the circuit board.. mine did the same thing.. i think i have pictures of it somewhere in my how to change digital dash colors page. basically the joints have broken apart where they are soldered together.. you just have to resolder them back.
