Lowering Keys torsion bar

Hello . as I want to lower my Astro. of course I want to do that as cheaply as possible. can you make the lowering key for the torsion shaft yourself? I have ever seen a topic with an explanation about it with photos. but the photos are no longer visible. does anyone happen to have an explanation with pictures about it?

someone happens to have a photo of an original torsion keys and a lowered one . here in the netherlands they are not for sale . and if i have them shipped from america , the shipping cost are too high

It is typically "impractical" to lower an AWD, whereas a RWD is much preferred.
Not saying it isn't done.. but MOST simply do not.
Also be aware the torsion bar/transfer-case cross-member hangs quite low on these AWD vans, unlike the RWD. Not sure what other issues you may run into with the front drive-train either.
