Postby chryslerguru [OP] » September 27th 2012, 1:48pm

ok i,m new to the site ,so if this has been asked and answered just point me in the right direction thanks,, i,m finally ready to start on my 2000 astro, my question is, i know the cop car caprices use the same spindle as an astro, is it possible to use the small bolt pattern rotors too?, i have several nice sets of wheels but they are all 5 on 4 3/4, rear axle wont be a problem as its getting mini tubbed ,and an axle swap thanks

Cop cars? I thought cop cars where Ford cars. It might work, but I don't know. If its for a car, it might not work on a truck.

There are rotors that can be used that have the 4 3/4 bolt pattern. Do a search in the brake section.

Here is a post that will help. You can either redrill the 4 3/4 bolt pattern into the rotors or get rotors from a Delta 88, as astroracer did.

Pretty sure the Caprice cop car is the same platform as the Impala SS. So, pretty sure the bolt pattern is 5 x 5, same the Astro/Safari.
