Thanks Yall !!!
I was looking at all of our YouTube videos and wanted to post the one that best describes our attitude as Van Dwellers but after a self analysis of our channel I see that video hasn't been made yet. So our most recent vid shows what our plans are and that is probably the best way of introducing us and what we're up to. Peace, Love and Understanding!

So I was skimming through your channel and saw the near-total post. Not sure if you mentioned later in another video, but all those parts can be found at your local wrecking yard at discount prices. I just threw out a matching bumper cover (sorry) but it, a hood and grill all in matching colors can be found for well under $200. Install is quick n easy and there is plenty of knowledge here if you hit a snag. I believe 95-05 body parts are interchangeable for the most part.

Since you already like digging through little towns and collect cool stuff, a trip to the junk yard is right up your alley!

Thanks for viewing our vids. I already bought most of the repair parts from Amazon. The hood brand new was cheaper than buying it from the local wrecking yard used. And they wanted me to remove the old one. ha! The new one was $123 from Amazon and the wrecking yard quoted me $125. They seemed a little out of touch. The paint job has gone in a completely different direction. I started off like everyone else trying to be stealth but I realized that any cop worth his salt will recognize someone sleeping in their van no matter how stealth you try to be. So I decided to flaunt it and make a spectacle of myself. I'm painting my van camo. I might still be able to blend in on State Land or BLM Land in the desert but as for Urban Stealth boondocking, that ship has sailed. I will make a video of the camo paint job when I get it finished.

Unfortunately, some yards are operated/ owned by hoarders, who inherently place unrealistically high values on things. The one in my town is that way, so drive out to sun valley.

Hood here is $40, and there's about a dozen at any given time in there.

Good deal on the hood though, can't wait to see the camo!

Wow that's cheap. I'm in Abilene, Texas right now and this city is pretty far away from another big city. Dallas is about 300 miles away and Austin is 220, El Pase 450. It's out in the middle of nowhere so they can command higher prices I guess. I was very surprised at the price on Amazon though.
