New member here 95 Astro

I have been after this van for a few years and I finally own it now. It's a 95 Gladiator Conversion with 213k on the miles. It is a low top conversion that I absolutely wanted and AWD. Was pretty grimy, me and wife cleaned in up. Lots of new parts on the van. Got some maintenance to do. Oil is grimy, and tranny fluid needs changed. I know that 95 is a "*******" year for the Astro. Do I have a 700R4 tranny or a 4L60E? Thanks! Stewart

By the way. 350 bucks and I drove it home. A couple of bumps and bruises but all in all good van.

Definitely a 4L60E. I still have my old one in the garage, and another that came with my V8 donor. 95 may be a unique year, but I've not had any real difficulty getting parts. I adapted the transmission lines to use a 96 radiator (different fittings), wasn't rocket science. Nice van, for the price you can't beat it!
