Howdy from the frozen tundra that is Maine. I don't have a van yet, I've been searching around at slot of options and really fell in love with the astro/safari vans. I drive an 1987 Fiero GT right now but would like something to take to the bars, road trips, and occasional towing. The GM vans look like a great choice and do it in style!
Now to find one

Welcome! The Astro / Safari Vans are a great choice! Often called the MUV or "multi - use - vehicle" .......
What year or price range are looking at? AWD or 2wd? Cargo or Passenger or Conversion Van?

As it is right now I'm attempting to sell my 2005 Ford Focus that has a blown motor, that will directly effect how much I can spend. I still have many questions before I know exactly what I'm looking for. I prefer rwd if I can find it but I think up here in Maine It will be hard to find one that's not awd.
I originally started the search for a conversion van but now that I know you can fit a sbc 350 in one of these I'm leaning toward a stripped down cargo van.

Make sure you research V8 swaps a lot......you will find what years are easier to swap the 350 into('94 and below). I would really like the look of a lifted AWD Cargo Van, but I have kids...
