rear sway bar? on lifted van

I wan to put a rear sway bar on my Astro van (2000 AWD 4.3 lifted 4" on 32s). I've done some research but haven't found any great threads on doing this. I did read WVKayaker's thread on his Helwig bar, great pics (viewtopic.php?f=40&t=609&start=0&hilit=helwig+rear+sway). My main question is to see if anyone has brand or part number recommendations for this? I'm just looking for something to bolt to the rear sub frame and u-bolt to the rear axle that will eliminate some body roll. Nothing too crazy. I like budget buys too, not looking to spend mega dollars. And I want to do it myself, no taking it to a shop. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate how awesome and unique these astro van builds are and how great this forum is

the rear suspension is the same on rear drive or AWD vans so you can search for a rear drive rear bar and bolt it on. you can also find a used factory bar on car-parts.com If you find a used one I can take some pictures of mine so you can see how its bolted on if needed. Oh and the rear suspension is also the same from 85 to 2005 so I believe for some reason there were more prevalent on the first gen vans. (1985 to 1995)

Does anyone know how the bracket extensions mentioned in the thread from above work? Do those bolt to the frame and drop down and bolt to the ends of the sway bar? Do they just add extra strength over the screws to eliminate bending?

When I added my Addco sway bars, I didn't use longer bolts with my lift. The bolts can eventually bend. Instead, I raised the sway bar with brackets normaly used for dropping a front sway bar.

The only thing that needs extending on the rear sway bar kit are the end links, the rest bolts on to the axle and unibody rails with the stock parts included with sway bar kit.

The best thing to do would be to mount the sway bar kit to your van and measure how much longer the end link spacers and bolts (or all-thread) need to be to mount the sway bar level for your amount of rear lift. Pretty simple overall.
