22-1195hd U-Bolts/Bolts

I'm trying to hunt down slightly larger u-bolts/bolts that will fit 22-1195hd leafs without needing to be cutting them. I've seen pictures of the stock bolts barely just working but I'd prefer not to go that way.

I have a quote from ATS Springs for $70 (shipping included to Canada). That'll work out to >$100 CAD once import tax is paid. Seems a lot for a few bolts.
Has anyone else ordered these from another company, US or Canada?

If you have longer bolts readily available at a lower cost why not cut them if you need to?

That's also an option. I have very limited tools, no vice, hack saw etc or a place to work. It would be much easier to get something that fits. But yes, it's an option.

The cheapest option from the link is $21 for one + $70 shipping. $110 for 2 without the bolts.

Are plates necessary? Wouldn't 2 u-bolts and 4 bolts work? I know there will be a small gap on the bolt side but it'll still work yeah?

No you cut off the perch and use plates.. Look up Lumpys custom leaf thread, I think he has some pictures in there.
