Who has OLV HiPo or similar adjustable bars?

Who has OLV HiPo or similar adjustable bars?

Postby Lumpy [OP] » August 30th 2014, 9:13pm

Ican't tell much about their function by looking at the small pic on the OLV site. Has anyone got them installed? Firevan, you still here?

Or does anyone have any kind of front to rear tie in bars, adjustable spring hangers etc?

I made my own adjustable hangers. I have bars and joints from Ballistic Fab to build and tie in but I'm still debating if I should just slap a frame under there instead. I only know of one dude who used the OLV bars. I don't think he's on either site anymore, I have his facebook pix someplace.

Talk to me.

Pics of the hangers?
Anchor scheme for each end of the tie in bars?

What kind of stresses are we trying to deal with? ie how does a single bar firm up the van? Is it the tendency of the rear wheels to move fore and aft that we're combatting? Or is there torque, up/down movement etc involved?

Gettin pretty good at cutting parts out with an angle grinder..
