Solid front axle swap

Solid front axle swap

Postby kcorleyap [OP] » May 7th 2008, 12:24pm

I am beginning to assemble parts for a high pinion dana 44 SFA swap with leaf springs. Does any one have information and photos on a front axle swap? I am not sure where the spring mounts are welded or bolted to the subframe or if any reinforcements are required. Thanks.

Check out this link: [Rule 21 Violation] You can also email Dean. He should be able to give you any info you need for this swap. If you live near him, I would suspect he would even drop by to give a hand :) Hope this helps.

Last year a posted a request on a dana 44 solid front axle install. Finally getting around to putting it in. However, the pics and information link to "deans" install is now flagged by rule 21. How do I get this information again? It seemed really good when I looked at it some time ago.

Send 9dawgs and private message and maybe he can provide you with information on the front axle swap or put you in contact with Dean.
