Is there a sticky for a 2" body lift?

Is there a sticky for a 2" body lift?

Postby Pengyou [OP] » September 6th 2015, 3:33am

Is there an "all encompassing" sticky here to show me how to do a 2"body lift? There sure are a lot of posts about it.

I would also like to install tires that are 2" taller, with the hopes that I will have 1" more ground clearance. Is my thinking correct? Will a 2" body lift accommodate the larger tires?

Stickies! Stickies! That's what we need :)

We could have a sticky that tells us where all the stickys are, and another sticky to tell people to check that sticky list of stickys. And we'd still have people asking the same questions.

A 2" lift is monsterously simple. You can do it in an afternoon with no special tools. EVERY lift, to any degree, starts with the same 2" basic lift. So in essence, the entire lifted sub-topic IS the sticky.

Lift it. Take pics.

Then lift it some more..

Jeeebus man, not to be harsh but learn to search. I know the built in search on the site sucks, but use google 'site:astrosafari.com KEYWORDS' and you will find anything and everything you need. It's simple and cheap, and there are plenty of posts that describe it.

It sounds like you are an intelligent person, tires are the only way to give yourself more true ground clearance.

Trolls take away from productive work, best to ignore them & go about your business.
