4.3 took a crap !

Ok guys I have a real nice 86 shorty cargo van, the v6 is toast so I was thinking of putting in a 350 but which would be easier carbed or tbi?
I live in the Vancouver Canada area where we have aircare. ( which is bullcrap ) so any ideas how to source the parts like motor mounts and such, any help would be appreciated .

Yes, that is a nice clean van.

With the air care thing, would you even be able to consider using a carb? I think you will be stuck with using a TBI (or better).
Diagnose 1st, never be a parts changer!

What is "Aircare". Anyway, TBI is not hard to set up.

Go TBI...heck, I did it and it worked!!
But I would first do a little research on the Aircare situation. I live in Houston Texas and mine is a 1989 engine and it passes the Emissions Test.
