This fluttering sound began to occur about a month or so ago and happens on and off with moreso on lately.
I checked under the hood and it sounds like it is coming from the belt and that whole contraption where the belt is spinning around is shaking somewhat.
When i idle, i can hear fluttering and as i drive it seems a little more intense with the press of the gas.
Any clue? And thank you!

Interesting. My new van (also a 2000) also does this on cold starts for the first few minutes. It eventually goes away. I thought it was the tensioner bopping around, so I replaced drive belt and tensioner with a known good ones, and finally new ones. Still persists.
