EVAP canister or something else?

EVAP canister or something else?

Postby spacemanscott [OP] » March 6th 2019, 5:39pm

Hey, so the saga continues returning our Safari to original shape after doing the intake manifold gaskets. The last piece of the puzzle I have questions about is this diaphragm thingy connected with 5 wires.

The wiring diagram I have doesn't line up the same color wires so I'm still not sure exactly what to call this thing, or exactly how to attach that hook in the first picture that actuates the diaphragm. And finally, what is the hose routing for the short hose? The long hose goes around to the front of the intake, but the second hose is much shorter. Thanks everyone!

That piece connects where the throttle linkage is, you will see where it bolts in once you line it up.
